Nelson Villalobo Ferrer known as Nelson Villalobo (born December 11, 1956, Cienfuegos, Cuba) is an artist in the disciplines of painting, engraving, assemblage, illustration and has also been a professor of art. In 1973 he studied in the Escuela Provincial de Arte, Santa Clara, Las Villas, Cuba. Between 1974–1978 he studied at the Escuela Nacional de Arte, Havana, Cuba. And from 1979 to 1983 he studied in the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA), Havana, Cuba.
From 1984 to 1986 he was Professor at the Instituto Superior de Arte, Havana, Cuba. From 1984–1986 he was a Professor at Escuela Provincial de Arte, Havana, Cuba. From 1986–1991 he was a draftsman at Taller de Serigrafía Artística "René Portocarrero," Fondo Cubano de Bienes Culturales, Havana, Cuba. Since 1991 he has resided in Zaragoza, Spain.

Some of his images were selected to conform the XXIV (1985) and XXV (1986) Premi Internacional de Dibuix Joan Miró. Fundació Joan Miró, Centre d'Estudis d'Art Contemporani, Parc de Montjuic, Barcelona, Spain. In 1988 he participated in "Cuban Art in Boston" at Massachusetts College of Art, Boston, Massachusetts, USA. And in 1991 he was included in "Grabado Contemporáneo Cubano".
